Just hover

No shortcuts and no clicks. Move your cursor to the screen edge and the panel slides in; move away and it hides. You can dock it to the left edge or another monitor.

02

Korea + US, together

From KOSPI and KOSDAQ to NYSE and NASDAQ. Search by name or ticker, then add shares and average price to see portfolio profit and loss.

03

Three months at a glance

Each stock includes a compact sparkline based on the last three months of daily prices. The latest chart and price remain visible after hours and on weekends.

04

Set it and forget it

It sits quietly in the system tray and can launch with Windows. It appears only when you reach for it, so it never occupies your workspace.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is it really free?
Yes. There are no ads, payments, or sign-up. The full code is available on GitHub under the MIT License.
Where is my information stored?
Your watchlist, holdings, average purchase prices, and settings are stored on your PC. When you explicitly use the portfolio one-line review, a random device identifier, calculated portfolio statistics, and selected language are sent to the Stock Peek Worker to enforce the daily limit and generate the result. Brokerage credentials are never requested.
Windows shows a warning during install.
The app is not code-signed because it is an independent project, so SmartScreen may display a warning. Choose “More info → Run anyway” to install. You can also inspect or build the source from GitHub.
Where do the quotes come from?
Korean quotes come from Naver Finance and US quotes from Yahoo Finance public data. The app checks roughly every 5 seconds during market hours and every 60 seconds after close. Quotes may be delayed by the exchange or data provider.
Does it work on a corporate PC?
It is designed to use the system proxy and certificates. Availability still depends on your organization’s policies and your permission to install software.
Is there a Mac version?
Stock Peek currently supports Windows 10 and Windows 11 only.
